Once again the Club held its Spring Open Show alongside The South Western Gundog show at Matford in Exeter.
Both Clubs had a super entry on the day. We were blessed with good weather and both clubs were able to have rings outside.
Our Judge this year was Karen Williams who drew a super entry of 92 dogs. Her Best In Show was awarded to Mr & Mrs Layland’s lovely Bitch Maddouse Could Be Trouble.
It was a very pleasant day, a lovely atmosphere, being able to show the dogs outside makes all the difference. My thanks go to the Committee of SW Gundog Club for allowing us to have our show in conjunction with theirs. Having the 2 shows on one day really helps with the entry.
I would like to thank the stewards for all their hard work, also thanks to Terry Mace for keeping things running smoothly. Finally, thanks to Anthony Maidment & Denise Stanton for taking such lovely photos.
All the results can be found on the Club’s web site alongside the various photos taken.
